great website.. I have raced pigeons for 27 years but am becoming interested in fancy pigeons as racing gets more & more expensive & only seems room for the big boys & no room for the small back garden flyer..I take a great liking to these fancy pigeons such as high flying tiplers & tumblers.. I think thats what they are called! lol! anyway I`m thinking of purchasing a couple of youngsters.. hopefully from someone here in Lincolnshire so I can collect or choose my own.. anyone in Lincolnshire that can help then please mail me.. I`m not too far from Skegness so anyone within a 30 mile radius please contact me If you can help me with a pair of youngsters for 2006. I don`t mind paying provided they are good quaility birds.. love your site & have added it to my favourites.. happy new year to one & all & good luck with shows etc... Andy..

I am rather new to pigeons, only having them a few years, and find your information on genetics extremly useful. Thank you. I am also trying to find a standard for Koros Tumblers. I have a few of these birds, which are very rare here in the USA, and cannot find a standard for them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again, Bill.

First visit to this site, great to read about past members some long gone but still remembered. As a former Show Roller man its good to see they are still moving on, Just one minor point the Terry Broad rollers are from the strain of Bill Hughes of Wigan, like most of the roller breeders of the 70s and 80s we all kept this remarkable fanciers birds. Good luck to the Fed Old Jeff Oldham would be very pleased how it has blossomed. Knowing these old timers was the very best, so many having passed on but every time I see a black spangle west it reminds me of Sid Cossey and Graham Beswick, Black selfs Vick Salnicki, Silver bars Melly Brooker,Spangles Harry Heal,Blue bar Jeff Oldham classic breeders of wests every one of them. May your eggs be filled lads. Dave Frost former champion breeder of Show Rollers and as a faviour to a dieing man (Sid Cossey) breeder of black spangle wests, Sid knew if he left them in his loft Melly would neck all his hard work so he trusted me to carry on his work, all I did was to breed and improve them & pass them on, Graham Beswick then took them on and yet again improved them. It was a wonderful era to have wests with a strong Norwich club up the A140, the shows where great and led to the Fed.
