1, The Federation will run a “Federation Champion” award and to qualify the bird will have won four Federation certificates under three different judges, when this has been obtained the fancier should contact the Federation secretary and apply for the award.
2. Certificates can be awarded to the following breeds – West of England Flying Tumblers, Exhibition and Flying Tipplers and Exhibition and Flying Rollers
3, A “Master Breeders” award will be offered to a fancier who has with their own bred birds won three “Federation Champion” awards.
4. A “Best of Breed” certificate will be awarded at certain designated flying breed shows to fully paid up members of The Federation exhibiting and winning the best of it’s breed at one of these shows. Best of Breed certificates will be issued at the end of the show season and will be laminate covered signed by both The Federation Secretary and Club Secretary of the show where they were awarded.
5. Shows currently permitted to issue “Best of Breed” certificates are Bideford, Bristol, Northern Counties, Southern Counties North Wales, Scottish Flying Breed and of course the Federation show/s
6. Any bird winning four “Best of Breed” certificates at a minimum of two different venues will issued with a “Supreme Champion” certificate. A bird will also be awarded a ‘Supreme Champion’ certificate by winning ten ‘Federation Certificates’

1, Clubs wishing to offer Federation certificates and Best of Breed certificates must be fully affiliated to the National Federation and yearly subscriptions paid in full.
2, Affiliated clubs only, may offer Federation certificates and selected Flying Breed clubs Best of Breed Certificates and by doing so must agree to abide by Federation rules.
3, Federation certificates may be awarded no matter how many birds are in each section but the winner must be deemed worthy enough by the judge of winning a certificate at any other show. The Federation would ask all clubs to respect any judge not wishing to issue a certificate because he/she believed the quality of the birds not to be good enough.
4, Federation award return slips must be correctly completed and returned to the Federation secretary within a two-month period after the respective show date.
5, Federation certificates may only be awarded by a Federation or NPA approved judge who by accepting the appointment agrees to abide by the Federation rules.
6, Federation certificates may only be issued from 1st of October until 31st January inclusive

2, All birds entered into a Federation governed show must be wearing a ring which is registered to the fancier exhibiting the bird otherwise all awards achieved will be forfeited.
3, If a fancier during the course of the show has any disagreements or queries with the running of the show the fancier should raise their query with the show manager who in turn will involve the Committee. The query should be supported with a deposit of Ł10 which will be returned if the query if found in the fanciers favour. All matters will be resolved on the day where possible and no decision cannot be changed unilaterally If a Committee Member is involved and any investigation or query then that member should step down from the investigation.
4, The fancier must not in any way harass or try to influence the judges whilst judging is in progress.
5, The fancier must remember that the judges decision is final
6, The fancier must act in a responsible manner throughout the duration of the show.
7, By entering a Federation governed show the fancier must have read and agree to abide by the rules of the Federation and the show society rules that apply at that particular show.
8. Any Fancier bringing the Federation or any of it’s members into disrepute will be asked to explain their actions to the Committee.
1, Entries for the show are only accepted on the condition that the exhibitor has read the show rules and the Federation rules and agrees to abide by them.
2, A bird entered into the show must not bear any form of distinguishing mark that can identify that bird other than the correct ring for the particular breed.
3 All birds entered into the show must be the property of and be correctly registered to the exhibitor, if not any awards will be void.
4. Only pigeons entered into the show may be placed in the show pens. The Secretary may only authorize sale pens.
5, Birds must not be removed from the show pens until the pre-arranged basketting time unless authorized by a show official.
6. No one will be allowed to leave The Federation show until all birds are basketed and accounted for, unless by special permission of the Secretary and/or Show Secretary.
7, Judges have complete control over the exhibits during the judging period, the judges opinion for placings (or disqualifications if justified) will be supported by the show committee.
8, The show committee reserve the right to refuse the staging of any entry which appears unhealthy or shows signs of neglect in any way.
9. Any bird obviously carrying lice or mites and has been for some time will be disqualified
10, Classes may be amalgamated or cancelled at the discretion of the show secretary without prior warning.
11, Judges unable to attend on the show day will be replaced by a nominated judge by the show committee who reserve the right to do so without prior warning.
12, All birds are exhibited at the owners risk. The show committee cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to persons or property throughout the duration of the show.
Please note these are general show rules which we would ask all affiliated clubs to include in their show rules but exhibitors please note separate club rules may apply in addition to the ones above. Please read the show schedule carefully.
