Hi Lee - I have messed up your previous thread so started this new one. Because your birds carry a lot of white i suspect that they are not Spangles but Homozygeous Ash Red Grizzles. Therefore breeding them will not produce Red spangles as you understand them. You will need to find out their history to be sure but i would be careful breeding from Red Grizzles unless you are very confident in what you are doing. Black, Dun, Brown and Khaki Spangles are grizzles rather than spangles and should be mated to a self or they will also go white. regards dave
